Caitlin and Thomas have quickly become close friends, so I was beyond excited when they asked me to take their pregnancy announcement and maternity photos. For their session, we decided on Galveston, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. There’s just something magical about the beach at golden hour. I loved capturing this sweet moment in their lives and can’t wait to see them step into parenthood.

Galveston, TX Maternity Session

It was the perfect day to be on the beach—just the right temperature, not too hot and not too cold. We took a quick walk over the bridge to get to the sand, and honestly, that’s always my favorite part of going to the beach (not sure why, but there’s something magical about that little transition).

As we made our way to the perfect spot, we chatted about how Caitlin’s pregnancy was going, whether they had a name picked out, and all the exciting things that come with preparing for a baby. It was so fun hearing about this new chapter they’re stepping into.

These two are so clearly best friends, and their connection is undeniable. It’s easy to see in the way they interact and even more so in the photos. One of my favorite shots is the one where Caitlin is looking up and laughing with Thomas—it’s so genuine and full of joy. You can just feel how happy they make each other.
