I’m so excited to share this Deer Park Nature Preserve family session with you today! This one is extra special because it’s my brother, sister-in-law, and my sweet little niece. There’s just something about family sessions with a newborn that feels so genuine and full of joy. Even though it was pretty chilly, the sunlight was perfect, and we had such a great time capturing these moments. I absolutely love how these photos turned out!

Deer Park, TX Family Session

MMark and Shelby were visiting from Colorado, so, of course, we had to take some family photos. This was my first time meeting their sweet little girl, Eisley, who’s just two months old! She and my son Milo are about six months apart, which is so cool but also bittersweet since they live so far away. It was a chilly session, but the glowing sunlight made it all so worth it.

One of my favorite moments was when Mark had his arms wrapped around Shelby and Eisley, and they were both smiling at their little girl. We couldn’t stop laughing at how Eisley kept sticking her tongue out instead of smiling—it was the cutest thing. When I showed Shelby the photos on the back of the camera, she got a little emotional, which honestly is the best feeling as a photographer.

I love getting to capture these special memories for families. Eisley is only this tiny for such a short time, and I’m so glad they’ll have these photos to look back on.
